Alumnus wins Casey Business of the Year

Former Pakenham Campus student Zac Pattison’s culinary interest began at the tender age of 15 when he first graced the kitchen for the College’s alumni/student events. Little did anyone know that this young chef would go on to win the prestigious Casey Business of the Year Award 2023 along with his team and co-owner Lachie Fyfe, leaving an indelible mark on the culinary landscape in Berwick and surrounding areas.

Now with over 16 years’ experience as a chef, Zac is thriving to say the least, having worked at some of the most renowned restaurants in Melbourne’s CBD and Beaconsfield’s hatted restaurant O.MY.

Zac finally branched out with his own venue bringing innovative and exciting flavours to Berwick with the opening of 3806 Brewing in October last year.

3806 brings a dining experience with beer, mateship and food that leaves guests wanting to come back for more. The space is primarily focused on producing and selling high quality craft beers paired with a fresh and seasonal menu which is locally sourced.

Congratulations on your culinary journey Zac, your achievements are a testament to your hard work and dedication to your industry and your business. We are eager to see what comes next!
