College success at SEISA event

Last Tuesday, Beaconhills College had a very successful day competing in the annual SEISA chess, debating and public speaking event held at Gippsland Grammar.

Overall, Pakenham campus’ chess team placed 2nd, Berwick campus’ senior debating team placed third, and Pakenham campus won the junior debating and both junior and senior public speaking competitions.

Special mentions to Tavnoor Kaur who won best junior public speaker, Ava Cashmore for winning best senior public speaker (second year in a row) and to Sophie Pinkerton who received best speaker in the senior debating.
