A day camp at Grantville Lodge near Western Port Bay has given Year 1 Berwick Campus students the perfect opportunity to explore the natural world.

The Beacon Explorers camp helps prepare Year 1 students for their first overnight camp without parents in Year 2.

Students spent the day bushwalking, building fairy gardens and bush crafts, hunting for bugs, feeding farm animals and enjoying some free nature play.

The day is very exciting as they experience duty groups and check out the cabins in preparation for their overnight camp next year.
