New centre takes shape

The new Years 7 and 8 centre at the Pakenham Campus is taking shape and due for completion during term 2, 2024.

The $8.6m development includes 12 new classrooms, six breakout rooms, study and multipurpose spaces, amenities and staff offices. In line with Beaconhills College’s environmental principles, it is designed with a number of sustainability features such as sensor lighting, water harvesting via underground tanks and 160kW of solar panels. The total building area is more than 3400 m2.

Years 7 and 8 students will be able to move to the new building by the start of semester 2 next year.
