Rishi Nadarajah from Year 7, Berwick has been selected to represent Barcelona Academy Australia in the Barcelona Academy World Cup. This soccer tournament will begin in the first week of April, and take place in Barcelona, Spain. The College is very proud of Rishi’s incredible achievements, as he received his offer in the first round. After hearing the news, he said to his family ‘I really worked so damn hard for it, I really want to go, and you have to do whatever you can to take me there’. In addition, he has been selected to join the Football Victoria (FV) Talent Identification Development Centre (TIDC). We wish Rishi the best of luck throughout his soccer career, and hope he uses these amazing opportunities to further develop his skills and expand his network.
